Maintenance :
Maintaining a lacquered surface doesn't require much effort. A slightly damp cloth is all you need to remove dirt, dust and other impurities. For high-gloss lacquered furniture, be sure to use a fine cotton cloth (avoid fibre cloths or feather dusters) to avoid unsightly scratches or marks.
Although it's not essential, if you want to maintain the shine of your lacquered furniture, we recommend using a solvent-free polish two or three times a year (our recommendation: Renuwell Regenerator available on our site). Do not use gloss products or alcohol-based cleaners or polishes, as these may damage the surface and give it a rough, matte appearance.
Scratches / Stains / Dents:
What if the furniture has scratches or dents? Such imperfections are difficult to repair on lacquered surfaces and should therefore be handled by professionals. Here, prevention is key: always use soft coasters to protect the surface from hard-edged objects or dirt.
