Sandblasting removes the top layer of wood using fine sand, creating a rough, textured surface that highlights the natural grain. In our furniture, the surface is finished with a very thin layer of lacquer, offering only minimal protection. As a result, sandblasted pieces are highly sensitive, especially to moisture. Water stains, oil, or other liquids can easily penetrate the wood and leave visible marks. We recommend careful handling and regular maintenance.
