Lime-washed furniture features a soft, pale finish that partially covers the wood while allowing the grain to show through. The whitewash – typically water- or chalk-based – creates a delicate, washed-out look. It is usually sealed with oil or lacquer, but the surface remains sensitive.
Caution is advised during cleaning: excessive moisture or friction may cause the wash to fade or come off. Only wipe with a damp cloth, and avoid strong cleaning agents.
In our sortiment, this surface treatment is mainly found in products with names like “whitewash” or “bianco.”
